Vectra C 1.9CDTi Sri (120) oil filter

This should be an easy one for you..... where on earth is it? I cant find the damn thing anyware, ive got a replacement element for it. I found a compartment behind the NSF wheel but it wasnt behind that, the entire front of the engine seems to be obscured with various bits and pieces and so does the back. Is it in a remote location someware?

Rear of the engine, just above the driveshaft, it's an insert filter like the newer petrols etc.

Bit of a bugger to get to and to remove. Open it slowly as there is a little drain hole in the lower edge to drain the residual oil out of the assembly. Once it's loose-ish, it takes many turns to fully remove it so keep going, lol.

IIRC, it's a 32mm nut on top to loosen it off.

Thanks guys, that should do the trick I've tried on VectraC but they have registration issues and it could be a week or so before I get my account activated.
