Question for Zafira owners

looking at various cars recently to replace the aging Vectra, on looking over a Zafira was shown a couple of the 38 positions that the interior transforms into, this is when i realised that the 2 rear seats fold down into what would normally be the spare wheel well, i asked the guy where is the spare wheel then, he told me that there aint one, you use the aerosol repair kit.

the questions are;
do you carry a spare tyre anyhoo ??
do you use the aerosol repair kit ??

i thought the tyre repair centres would not touch tyres that had been temp repaired with an aerosol repair kit ??

We just recently traded in our 56 reg Zafira 7 seater which had a full size spare wheel which sat under the rear of the car and was wound down from inside the boot.
I always thought it was standard (got car at 1 year old) but was told on trade in that it was an option to have the spare rather than the foam.

The spare wheel is not standard, there's an puncture kit I believe behind the right hand side panel in rear, and a space for the spare wheel under he car, but no not standard, an optional extra maybe.

This is an 09 zafira in exclusive trim, higher spec models might have them though
