My son is going to MOT this and put it on ebay, it's completely original even the rusty wings and I thought it might be of interest to a fan of the marque

Can't be many completely original ones around any more - nice!

Not a massive fan but have appreciation for anything like this at this age that's been kept original especially if it had a tendancy to be chavved to the extreme

An old dear had since new in 1984 then my son inherited it, lent it to a mate for a bit then got it back....it's done about 53000 miles and is a 993cc monster.

Assuming it passes the MOT, what should he put it on for? it's not as if there are any others to compare it with

Mate of mine bought this a couple of years ago

It currently looks like this

To be fair despite the condition it wont go for a huge amount, might make a grand if really lucky but that will more than likely from someone wanting the shell more than anything for a project.

Given it's on eBay without a MOT - is it too knackered to get one? irked

Fair enough.

I'm going to have some money after the guy comes to collect my Almera later today, I'll try hard not to bid on this but I do kinda want it hehe

It really is a little gem, such a shame VX didn't put more effort into protecting the arches

rear arches are a crap trap on the nova and for some reason they like to rust out the rear half of the bottom of the doors - as both the 3 door i had and the 5 door my brother had at one time rusted in both those places
