after heavy rainfall of a night, when driving off from a standstill i get a load of water running into the passenger footwell of my corsa combo van. it's quite a lot & comes from behind the dash/glove box area.

there's got to be drain hole somewhere blocked right? i've had a quick look around the battery tray but can't see anything amiss?

as is typical with these things when ever it's been raining hard & the van's been sat i'm in a hurry & don't have the time to start poking around!

its a 2005 model corsa combo 1.3 cdti by the way, any help much appreciated!

BCM/Fuse box area or scuttle panel. I'd look at the fusebox first, take it out and have a look

judging by all the web comments on this it's a pretty common fault (grommet under or behind battery/fusebox).

if only the f*ckwits at opel/vauxhall had designed an engine bay with an easier to remove battery! what a nightmare to get out!

or perhaps if i'm asking for that they might have just designed a grommet that wouldn't fail & leak like this so often wink
