Replacing Frontera engine, what's compatible?

Right! I may be buying a boat with a knackered 2.2l Frontera diesel in it.
If I'm replacing it, I may take the chance to put something like a 1.5 Corsa engine in. Will it mate to the gearbox? Are the anciliaries similar so I can transfer the marinising gear across? Are the mounting points the same?
And don't laugh at the "downgrade" The speed limit on the broads is 7mph so 65bhp is plenty. Might as well get the economy.
