Hi there, have a Corsa B running a redtop or C20xe , and for some reason it will just not spark.
I have replaced the coil, checked all leads , new spark plugs, checked the rotor arm and dizzy cap all of which are fine, connected the coil negative to battery negative to see if there was a poor earth, no difference, connected the battery (live) straight to the coil (live) and still nothing.

Been at it for two days now but its coming down to a lot of head scratching and i cant think of anything.
Anyone here have any suggestions ?

Cheers

Dave

Some finger pointing at the crank sensor and power to the ECU.

Fuel pump relay sends a signal to the ecu to spark, they are known to go pop...
Cranks sensor also let's it know when to spark so try that too.
Lots more things but they are the most common reasons.

Try your input into the ECU, if you trace back the wiring diagram to find the 12v supply then get a multimeter and see if its getting there. Fuel pump - Stick your mm on continuity and disconnect each relay one by one, noting the wiring positions, put a lead onto the supply/pump and then test each of your wires that you have just taken off i.e. varyfying the wire that supplies the pump.
