Getting ready? What is this 'getting ready' of which you speak?
I was thinking of just rolling up and starting...

When you have a circa 750 mile round trip you need to make sure you have everything you need. Its not just a quick jaunt home.

Daft question (and i know it is already sorted for this year), but has it ever been suggested employing the services of our erstwhile moderator /gay icon/ drummer boy and his band of merry men to provide the musical entertainment for the evening? They are rather good by all accounts. Just a thought smile

Paul has very kindly offered actually - however I suggested I don't think we'd be right for the event. I don't think it's what people want at such a do. We'd/I would have loved to have done it, but people would be watching us playing our set and not knowing the songs, rather than dancing to Abba or RadioHead smile

But thanks for thinking of us smile

God, good point. Last time I saw my dress shirt it was heavily stained with red wine and crumpled in the bottom of the laundry basket. I'll have to give it a wash and if the stains don't come out then buy a new one (like I seem to most years).

BTW, don't forget ear plugs! hehe

I seem to vaguely remember that 2003 was a vintage year... the one where Psychobert went missing and we nearly set fire to PWIG's car... didn't someone fall asleep in their soup too! biggrin

Well, the good news is that the wine stains seem to have come out of my dress shirt. The bad news is that this means I'm going to have to iron it. hehe
