Reminder: Join Us At BTaP

6th November is the date for the party of 2010

Relaxing post-dinner entertainment
Relaxing post-dinner entertainment
A strange phenomenom has been unfolding recently. After a period of rest this forum has woken from its hibernation and not before time.

In a couple of months a small gathering of PHers will meet for an evening of social chit-chat, refreshing beverages, a spot of dinner and perhaps to partake of some after dinner singing.

The venue for this exclusive soiree is Tortworth Court Hotel in lovely Wotton-under-Edge, South Gloucestershire where we'll lay on pre-dinner drinks, food, wine on the table, post-dinner raffle and rock-aoke too! For those that can stand being near the mad auctioneer we'll have a few items under the hammer, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research.

See Will, they are different colours

BTaP is a great way to meet PHers old and new in the fairly intimate surroundings of a 160 capacity dining hall. Over 100 tickets have been sold already, but it's not too late to join us on Saturday 6th November as tickets are still available for the inflation-busting price of £75 per person - quite frankly, the forum logo is worth the asking price alone. Yes, in case you were wondering what the BTaP logos appearing on the forums are all about, it stands for Black Tie (what you wear) and Pie (what you eat).

If you want to join the party, visit the PH shop, and after you have bought your ticket all you need to worry about is what what to wear, what time to arrive at the bar, and what you can do to stop Mr Will from drawing the raffle tickets again......

We look forward to seeing you there.

A great amount. Well done. I would but I'm going to be Dad not long after that date, so going here will be bad form. Plus I look like the Fat controller in a DJ...

There are some really good venues in Lancashire ......... perhaps for next year?

I promise it's not all cobbled streets and flat caps.
