OK, so in answer to some earlier questions, dinner is at 19.45 and the pre- dinner drinks will start at 19.00.

Drinks

Oracle Finance have yet again sponsored the pre- dinner drinks, and Adrian Flux Insurance have given us a little to ease us into the post- dinner drinks. HPI have added to the wine fund too, meaning we are raised from entry level plonk. thumbup to those chaps.

Raffle

The raffle is looking fantastic....but it might take us a while to draw all the winning tickets. We have to offer:

1 x Haynes book

1 x Werners Flying Watch

1 x AMG driving experience with lunch at Silver Arrows restaurant

1 x Pair of Goodwood FOS tickets

1 x Pair of Goodwood Revival tickets

1 x MINI Baby Racer

1 x £50 Opie Oils Voucher

1 x Javelin Track Day

1 x Dodo Juice wax kit

1 x Pair of Le Mans Grandstand seats

1 x Set of tyres

3 x McLaren ‘The Cars’ books, signed

1 x Nissan Race Academy Jacket

3 x Vauxhall BTCC models

1 x TomTom One Sat Nav

4 x Renault Clio models

1 x Porsche Driving Experience

1 x Caterham for 24 hours

1 x Rolls Royce prize, consisting Goodwood Phantom book, Phantom Drophead Coupe book, Slip cover and Phantom Drophead model

Auction

We'll host a midnight auction too, where any unwanted raffle prizes can be thrown in to raise more money for Cancer Research. However, we do have some dedicated auction items too.

1 x Jaguar XFR loan for a weekend, your chance to have 48 hours in this very special car

1 x Special mystery prize biggrin

2 x 737 Flight Simulator sessions (in aid of Help for Heroes) auctioned by Captain Nick. We have two hours Boeing 737 simulator available, donated by Flight Acctive Ltd and Oxford Aviation Academy. The simulator is based in Crawley, near Gatwick airport, and the dates can be adjusted to suit the winners, it will just depend on instructor availability. The retail price of this simulator time is over £1000. It is full visual, uses 6 hydraulic jacks for complete motion and is used by crews to train and examine on, so it is a very accurate reflection of the real thing.

2 x Ultimate Tank Experience sessions to be auctioned by Major Jim (tankslider) in aid of Help for Heroes. A day at Bovington in Dorset at the Tank Museum www.tankmuseum.org , guided by a serving, operational tank crew from the Royal Tank Regiment, amongst far and away the best collection of armour in the world. Suitable for two people, dates for this Tank rides at the museum are currently sold out until summer 2010, however the two participants will get to drive in both WW2 and more recent tanks. In the afternoon we'll move to the huge training area to meet up with, get on, and have a play with, a current, Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank on the off - road driving circuit.

It's going to be a great night, oh yes

On the basis of how many people will be there that you know, you really should come along. We won't give you earache all night demanding the next VMAX ASAP.
