Can you put a request (Instruction, order, edict!), for significant bar staff coverage from 2pm onwards. More people will be there for an early start than last year. Wouldn't want them not being able to keep up with demand.
Also the smirnoff ice needs to be properly chilled with lots of straws.

They really couldn't understand why a bunch of adults at a black tie do would want so many alcopops
We did that last year Paul, and they wondered the same ... and so ignored the request! By the time they had got back from the supermarket with a load of warm Smirnoff Ice the moment had passed and they had lost out on about £120 in takings over a 5 minute period They really couldn't understand why a bunch of adults at a black tie do would want so many alcopops

No such thing!!! ....after 5 seconds, it is no longer a "strawpedo"!!!! ...it becomes a leisurely sip, and hence a "strawpedo" has to be re-attempted!!
