As there is 3 of us coming all the way down from Scotland about 350 miles for me and LHD and even more for GP is there a group meeting up and traveling down from somewhere northern that we could join to add to the experience?

Doesn't seem to be that many people going from the North West area. And there only seems to be me, Blueyonder and Chim Girl going down the M1.

M6 is 6.5 hours for us or if we go down the M1 it is over 8.5 hours.

take the m6 toll route, its far quicker. Just dont go under a gantry of what turned out to be ANPR cameras at an indicated 120 leptons, it makes you a bit worried! When I went down we met up with escargot and then met up with Mr Mullen and co. at a service station for the last stint, I cant remember where that was though but it was brilliant as about 10 cars pootered along the motorway at 70mph exactly (honest) all the way to the old hotel.

Lunch at Tebay services 11.30am
