I thought this was going to be a sick note for the following Monday morning...

Dear Boss.

Got well and truely on Saturday night. It was Mungo's fault, honest. Still, must have eaten summat dodgy on the motorway services, as it wasn't the alcohol or the pie that Ted laid on.

Still, see you Wednesday.

I'm still unwell today - have had a really dodgy stomach and shakes over the last few days - I think it was probably nicotine overdose from those patches - so have stopped them for the meantime (smoking again though - doh!)

Will wait until after the weekend and the start again with smaller patches - they can really screw you up those things.

I know the best way to use those patches.
You just need 2.

Put one over each eye and then you cant find your fags!

Im a big boy and need all of the bed.

(I'll leave that comment open to interpretation )

Ali said she will come along for the dinner if she is feeling abit better but may retire earlier. After tucking her in I'll be ensuring the bar is sufficeintly propped unitl the early hours

Just heard that one of the couples in our party are not going to be abale to come now due to illness - will see if we can get some replacements but there may be a spare double room if anyone wants it?

Mel was after one.

Your table is jinxed. Everyone I put on it pulls out, or comes down with a terrible illness
