I've only been to the last 3 BTaPs, but in my opinion this one has been by far, the best so farthumbup

A huge thanks to all PHers in attendance, for making it a brilliant night, and to those involved in helping arrange the event, both beforehand, and during the event itself.

More of the same next year please yes

2006 was a good one
2008 has been the best venue- thumbs up for exclusive use- makes a big diference!! Lovely crowd of people this year, lovely rooms and the best whiskey biggrin

however numbers were down, had their been 200 of us as per usual- how long would the bar queues have been, was nice to be more intimate smile

Of the two I've attended - I will give my +1, Lady B also thoroughly enjoyed the night - pics to follow (once I get them off the camera)

GREAT NIGHT, great friends, great food (IMHO).

Good to see and chat to you all again and catch up.

Superb hosts, big big thanks to Garlick, and all the peeps that helped out organising before and during the evening.

Another Big thanks to Stuart who made sure the bar was still free after the meal until all of our sponsored allowance was well and truly imbibed.

In fact it went that well, How's about we try to get Garlick to arrange one during the summer? perhaps Tux, Tie and Pie.

Well Paul fancy the job?

hehe

Top night and one to remember OH yes

Yup - I'd probably agree with that. My 4th BTAP now I think and it's up there with the best.

We had a great time. Nice venue, great pie!!, free bar was a brilliant bonus, and the smaller numbers made it much less rowdy and impersonal. Really enjoyed meeting friends old and new!

Fewer folk than last year meant that it was easier to circulate. Also, I think it'd be a great idea to hand out the name badges as soon as possible - the bar in the afternoon became tangibly more relaxed once people didn't have do the "...and you are?" thing.

Brilliant night out even if some of the bar staff were a bit "duelling banjos". Didn't do the super-late-night thing (200 mile drive home on Sunday, plus I don't have the stamina any more).

Was it Tuscan_Rat that took it upon himself? That worked really well, agreed.

I think this was my sixth or seventh now, having only missed one i can say this was my best one to date.

Apologies for berating the F&B Manager for not having enough Strawpeado's, and big up the F&B Manager for sending someone to Tesco's to go get some more smile

Earlier on in the day I overheard someone saying "you're going to need some more Smirnoff Ice"...he laughed it off, ah we have loads. "No no, really".

20 minutes later and they're going to Tescos hehe
