In the interests of equality and all that...

I thought I'd go for black trousers, possibly with a satin strip down the side, black jacket, white shirt and I might top the whole thing off with a black bow tie and black shoes.

Christ on a bike, people actually WEAR cummerbunds and braces? Saying that, I've never actually been in a fully formal environment. Never had to wear them at weddings.

Are you suggesting that I don't have shapely legs?

I will be wearing a cumberrund to hide the fact that my trousers are a little on the tight side after too much food and beer in the past few weeks. I will not be wearing braces though - horrid things.

nono

Cummerbund OR Braces, not both!

Neither would be apprioriate attire for a wedding - that should be Morning Suit, not Black Tie biggrin

After spending a couple of weeks running around and helping the OH get the dress she wanted etc. I haven't actually got anything myself, not even a jacket, let alone some sort of dickie bow thing.

Nothing like leaving it all until the last minute...
