I've checked with the good lady herself, and her response was that they'll be sent the moment she receives the tickets from HM.

She does not know when this will be .... but as you suspect, it will have to be soon.

why do you need the tickets now? as long as you have them by friday/saturday there is nothing to worry about
this will be my 5th BTaP and I don't ever remember having to show a ticket

Don't need a ticket, just by stating tickets will be sent before the event, sort of makes you think the postie has screwed up.

So if there are going to be no tickets, thats cool by me, I'll get back in my box

I think most people aren't bothered about the tickets - it's the stickers we really want!

But the stickers have. We've had them for a while now.

Apparently we haven't had anything yet, which is cutting it a bit fine.

However, I'm not too worried as I have a large collection of "JonRB" badges from previous years so I'll just wear one of those.
