Black Tie and Pie 2008

Update on this year's event

Ah, the memories.....
Ah, the memories.....

Ah, the memories.....

For those that don't know, PistonHeads holds an annual black tie dinner, and this year it is taking place on the 8th November at Hellidon Lakes Hotel in Daventry.

If you haven't been before, BTaP is a great opportunity to meet other PHers, enjoy a few shandies and maybe dance a little to the band. We also hold a raffle with all proceeds going to charity.

For the many of you that have already booked tickets, we have some great prizes available, so far we have:

A pair of accident damaged doors from Jason Plato's SEAT BTCC car supplied by SEAT UK

2 x BMW F1 shirts signed by Kubica supplied by BMW UK

2 x BMW 320si books signed by Andy Priaulx supplied by BMW UK

Track day voucher supplied by Javelin Track Days

Entry to driving rally supplied by Street Safari

Driving Tuition Voucher supplied by Ben Elliot Racing

£50 oil voucher from Opie Oils

Chronograph watch supplied by Werners Flying Watches

Gold Class wash and wax kit supplied by Meguiars

2 Le Mans grandstand tickets supplied by 1st Tickets

Goodie bags supplied by WD40

Porsche Design top and Pit Lane shirt supplied by The Porsche Shop

3 pairs of tickets to The Classic Motorshow at the NEC supplied by Clarion Events

An array of PH goodies supplied by us!

You will also be pleased to hear that Sam and the team from 'Blow Me' will be on hand from early on Sunday morning to offer you a breath test, should you wish to have one before driving home.

We can also now take bookings for any ladies who fancy having their hair done before the big night, send me an e mail to book an appointment.

If you aren't joining us, but would like to, we do have some tickets left priced at £75. If you want to book please purchase your ticket from the PH Shop or for more information on the event please see here

I look forward to seeing you there.

Two knackered doors to suit a Seat, I love it! If your interested I have got badly kerbed alloy to suit a Toyota Celica circa 1987 the tyre needs pumping up but if yours if you want it!

Surely your sub-heading requires an apostrophe? "Update on this year's event"

Well while we're at it, there should be an apostrophe in "Plato's door" as well...

Unlike Whittlebury Hall, this venue (which is allegedly better) apparently does not have an on-site hairdressers.
