I thought they were a shade too loud. Could have been the acoustics of the place, though.

Top-notch, I thought. Good range of songs, well played and sung. Bit loud for easy conversation in the room - a lot of people retired to the back and edges when not dancing - but that's probably the shape of the room as much as anything.

Agreed.

The curved wall behind was a bit too effective I reckon.

Band were very good though.

The band played songs that made me do rock slides whilst playing air guitar. Led to a nice hole in my trousers. Looks like a new tux for next year!

A big HELLO! and THANK YOU! to all you PistonFolk for a great time-Black Tie and (in this case) lack of Pie is always a good one for us.Turned out to be your classic gig-lot's of lubrication, lot's of volume, a punch up, our own personal 'Bez' and we even got to see some tits-quality!

You are all a fantastic crowd & we look forward to the next time the Pistonheads & Mighty Goodfellaz join forces to bring alcohol and rock to the needy.

On reflection, it would have been a good idea to put the casino in another room, so that there was a loud room and a quiet(er) room. I'm not bothered about a band, but do like to sit'n'drink'n'chat.

The Mighty Good Fellaz, giving them their due are very good at what they do, but another PHer summed it up perfectly when he said, "it's just not what I want to listen to at a night like this".

P.Fest, yes ... BTaP, no. It was simply too loud for anyone to hear anyone else talking.

However, what would have helped considerably would have been if the bar had been closer to the dining room so that people do have somewhere that they can go and drink and talk without having a 5 minute walk.

Personally, I think that the 2004 venue was bang on yes

Venue aside, many thanks to Sue and Paul and everyone else for making it another cracking day ... I was totally wrecked by 6pm thanks to my erstwhile "Race? ... What Race?" crew and apparently I went to the room to get changed, did a strip tease for Vicki and when she asked if she looked alright I said "yeah great, but do you think I look like Arnold Swarzenegger?"

Don't ask me, I remember nothing!

Band were great, but the sound system/setup was well below par. A bit loud for some of the older members maybe...? hehe

Get yerselves a sound engineer to setup the bigger venues?!

You were aware of the bar over to the left hand side of the stage in the room right, or am I missing something?
