Well guessing most people are now home or at least online thought I'd start a BT&P Hangover Surgery...list all your "proven" cures - to start with here is my contribution

Think most of us started with the fantstic Full English at the hotel, but why does this work? Well apparently, the fry up is full of Proteins and Carbs. Carbs are supposed to be the biggest help so no need to go for fried stuff if you do not want! Proteins are to help body function normally (maybe this is what many PH'rs are lacking - Vixpy may need more meat!)

Staying awake? Tea or Coffee? Problem with this is that caffeine has a diuretic effect a washes your body of water soluble vitamins like B & C as well as fluids to rehydrate you! For this I recommend Berrocca 700+% of your recommmended intake of Vitamin C in one easy shot!

But many say prevention is better than cure and eating cheese the day before is a good one, yes I know this info is too late for many! Hmmmm wonder if Vodka Berocca's are valid as a preventive measure

A bottle of ginger beer (only if I don't feel queasy) and then a bottle of Lucozade Sport, quality bacon, and then Cadbury's Dairy Milk.

Sorts me out a treat.

But drinking water for the last hour always seems to help smile

Beechams Resolve just before going to bed and again when you wake up does it for me. Although dazed and confused at breakfast this morning, I didn't feel particularly hungover. Which was surprising as last night "I was very, very drunk". drunk

Fortunately I am one of those annoying people who never suffers from hangovers but I recommend the Bombay Saphire around noon for the DTs....

Prevention is better than cure, but failing that:
  1. As much water as you can keep down and a couple of paracetamol, before going to sleep
  2. If you wake in the night, more water
  3. In the morning, get up and at 'em and get in the shower - even if you feel like shite, you'll feel much better for being clean
  4. Great big greasy fry up, with lots of orange juice (apparently helps to neutralise any alcohol still in your stomach, although this could well be nonsense) and coffee or tea
  5. Careful with the driving. Stop every hour and a half and have a cuppa and a pee. Change drivers if you can.
Although I didn't need to activate the CJ Hangover Reaction Plan this time, I did bring my elephant-stunning painkillers just in case.

This is what works for me.

Time what time? It took me a hour yikes Couldn't see a thing and every car that seemed to be in front of me was a bloody 4X4 with it's fog lights on!

Had some friends over for the rest of the day smile They've just gone and is now PH time!

LOL,
We all ended up at breakfast at around 10, after finally leaving the bar around 3:30ish. Must admit i was a little sore, however i go for the "pile your plate as high as you can" and stuff the lot, followed off by two pots of coffee and a load of juice. Sorted me out a gooden.

Garlick didn't make it down for breakfast however -
His cesars suite came with a four strong personal maid service. He sat down in his throne for breakfast in his skin tight pyjamas and royal robe and then buggered off in his V8 Vantage.

Alright for some :P

Just because you woke up too late to eat it!! rofl

Apparently I did the right thing by dragging myself out of bed to get breakfast as they rationed people to 1 of everything if you ordered it to your room.
