I have been a PHer for ages but never been to any events. Tell a lie, I went to 'Supercar Sunday' some time ago and caught a distant glimpse of Ted in a brown TVR S. I understand he's gone up in the world since.

So, as title really. Would you recommend it?

Will there be a "daft question of the day" award this year?

assuming serious question - heres a serious answer - if not, see below.

Its basically a gathering - in a nice hotel, everyone dressed up nicely in Black tie and ballgowns, where we sit, have a nice meal, then get ravingly drunk together, while having a raffle and auction for charity. There is a live band and much socialising.

Think of it as a christmas party without the christmas.

An excellent opportunity to:
a. meet this virtual people you spend several hours a day talking to
b. Get dressed up nice and stay in a posh hotel
c. Get completley wasted (if you so wish)

For the non serious answer. wibble
