Anyone going from around (or passing through) Manchester?

Due to lack of automobile, I can't get to BTaP, but really want to go. Are there any kind souls going from or through the Manchester area of the world (i'm in Withington) who would be able to give me a lift in exchange for beer tokens or petrol vouchers?
