Have thought about attending, but the wife wasn't keen, so haven't said anything so far, as the wife has finally stated said she's not prepared to leave the kids overnight again (this year), and I don't really fancy going it alone, looks like i'll miss out.

I can't see it personally, wife wouldn't mind (never does) but it's a big expense for my own little jolly. Don't mind when sharing, but bit selfish if I go just for me.

She's said next year's a definate, and she's also promised to come to PF

Might change my mind, but doubt it. I hate missing out
