We did wonder, on the way to breakfast, how many people were going to wake up with a painful surprise in an envelope under their door..

and how many had 'the look' from their other half for the rest of the morning!

Hence why i paid cash all night

cash. mean's you don't 'quite' realise how much you've spent.

Plus the hotel had one of those crappy stupid policies about needing a bit of paper. Really annoys me does that! Hang on, why am I moaning, I had an absolutely amazing time !!! (how shite is it to be back at work, eh?!)

Even more shite when you wake up, remember you're self employed, that you have the week from hell ahead and duvet days are right off the menu...

I'm actually scared of the phone.

This is so so so wrong....

Due to my surprising ability to control my drinking this year yikes, our tab came to the grand total of about £40!! I can cheerily say I made it to the breakfast table this year ----> RESULT!!! Seeing folks in sunglasses did make me laugh and remember the headache and hurl of last year cool

£130 through the door, and my wallet was a lot thinner than it should have been - and I recall at least one bottle of wine bought for cash.

A well, at least I had someone to share the bill/blame with

We also had a £25 surcharge for room decoration, but pointed out that we'd left the room in a pristine state and got it knocked off, so I wonder who'd done the dirty and got away without paying for it?

Couple of 'medicinal' port and brandies last night to help me sleep.

In hindsight, not the smartest idea.

Yeah but you still bought a telly though. Has she forgiven you yet mate?

It was a pleasure to meet you BTW

We took £100 cash out and still had about £50 on the room as well.

Guilty!!! laugh You were so cheery yesterday morning! I just wanted to crawl under a duvet and stay there all day (I made Charlie go topless on the way home to blow away the cobwebs... the car went without a roof too )

Thank goodness I also brought my trusty hat with me..no more bad hair days!!
