Face like a dropped pie
Discussion
Ted, I have heard malicious gossip that the pie is going to be steak and kidney. Can you confirm or deny this vicious rumour please, because if it is, I may have to ask what the vegetarian option is.
Kidney is the devil's food. It tastes like the soles off your shoes when you've just walked over the fields for 10 miles and trodden in cow pooh.

I'd like to add that the lady friend I am bringing is a veggie but will eat Chicken!!! Thus a full blown Steak and Kidney will be most unpopular!!!
Having the event in such auspiscious surroundings, one was of the impressiom it woule be a menu'd meal!! Obviously one got the wrong end of one's stick (ooohh matron!!!!)

Just my £0.02, but we've all been here a while, and we could find an argument standing alone in a dark room.
Hands up anyone who thinks several hundred PHers could agree on a single flavour of pie? Now hands up who thinks Ted would think so. No?
Looks forward to Multi-Pie

While I trust Ted's wonderful judgement, he did order salmon last year. And he didn't warn us. I'd like to eat something this year!

Rumours eh?
It's not steak and kidney.
Thank God for that. I detest steak & kidney pie. But it is easily converted into steak pie by removing the bits of kidney. It's not steak and kidney.
Perhaps it will be 'pie' in the generic term, like 'meat' in a cheap dodgy curry (cat is still meat afterall).
