Ted, can you give me an idea of how many people will be seated at a table please?

Only 8? That's rather unusual and sounds, er... cosy!

It is indeed 8. It is unusual but I think it should work well. Less shouting and you can talk to people across the table as well as the people sat right next to you.

Agree. I found it quite difficult last year as I'm slightly deaf in my right ear, so I couldn't hear the person on that side. And the people on the other side of the table were too far away to pick up anything they said. I just nodded and smiled sweetly!

Unusual yes, but I completely agree about trying to talk to people across a 10 seater table.

I always feel uncomfortable if someone across the table is finding it hard to get into the conversation and there's nothing you can do to help them. Of course this person could be me this year!

So who decides which table any given individual is sitting on, or is it a "pull the name out of a hat" situation?

Pete - ask your mates if they have a spare seat for you

A lot of us have organised who we want to sit with, and sorted it direct with Sue, the lovely lady who is helping Ted organise this, as this makes her life a lot easier

Or just take pot luck. It's always fun meeting new people.

Pete you are also more than welcome with us, last time I mailed Sue we had 6 on a table of 8, she has probably filled the 2 but might be able to do some swapping around. YHM by the way about this and also the Nurburgring stuff.

Will you be bringing the mustang by any chance Julie? If so, please come and find me as I'd really like to have a closer look around one in the flesh ...

er, the car that is not me ... well, at 2 o'clock in the morning who knows, we nearly taped Pwigs Rover up and set fire to it one year ... until me and Adam realised he was in it ... with someone .... but that's another story hehe

Just park closer to the hotel than Tony's and Shoebag's Lambos and we'll be alright
