It's all "pie in the sky" at the moment so to speak and would still require teds stamp of approval but what would the feeling be towards extending an invite to the YAA crew and respective other halves to attend? I'm talking about an open invite to give them a thank you and a chance to kick back, relax, enjoy our hospitality and drink to excess in our environment. It would be unfair to expect Ted to pick up the tab though and equally bad form to expect our guests to pay (well we might be able to tap them up for a bit for cancer research latter in the evening )

I for one would pay for an extra ticket for the guest pot and Hughsie has already said the same

Of course it does all depend if they actually want to spend any of their free time drinking ale with us, but we don't know unless we ask?

Love the idea

BUT think it may mean that BTaP becomes a RH/YAA affair rather than Cancer Research this year.........

That may well be wrong, in the same vain that the YAA appeal has remained a YAA appeal and not taken on a broader remit (which I now believe is correct) it would be a shame for BT&P to lose it loyalty to Cancer Research. I'm talking about a lower key invite not a big celebrity cheque presentation thing more a genuine invite to a bunch of people that we have developed an affinity with over a short period of time to put on their glad rags and have a beer or six with us.

Then we have had the same concern Mel, and you have answered mine

So I still love the idea.

Damnit why do I miss everything

It's a good idea, but can they do it next year?

How much space would that need in the carpark? And would we need to warn the AA off for the next day, or isnt it a TVR chopper?

This has allready been suggested on the Richard Hammond thread. I think the problem would be who's on duty at the time. John

That's easy - we invite Richard as well, then there's no need for them to be watching him, is there?

We're looking into this. For now, we'll deal with it offline.
