I think we need to leave Surrey Rolling Road (aka Vixpy's) about 11ish to get there for the rugby and be first in the bar @2pm

2 hours ish

So need to leave at 11 to ensure you are there for 2pm bearing in mind delays with picking people up enroute

Last time we went through lovely villages in the cotswolds. Took ages but a really nice drive.

Maybe up for this, depends on how early I can offload the sprogs onto whoever it is who will be looking after them and conversely what time you lot decide head north.


It is north isn't it, I haven't looked it up yet?

ali, the A413 from Buckingham direct to Whittlebury is a bloody fantastic road, used to come home from work that way if I had a spare hour hehe

I'm guessing 11-12ish start, as need to make stops to meet people etc, and the route I've found is a 2 hour hoon, we can't check in til 3pm, but we can meet in the bar IIRC from last year :-

pre-dinner drinks were at 7pm,
getting changed drinks at 6pm,
pre-pre dinner drinks at 5pm,
pre-pre-pre dinner drinks at 4pm,
post arrival drinks at 3pm,
arrival drinks at 2pm

Hope they're showing the rugby as it'll be england beating South Africa drinks from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
