Black Tie hits the spot

PH's annual outing just keeps getting bigger

Everyone enjoyed themselves
Everyone enjoyed themselves

Black Tie and Pie (BTaP) is over -- for another year. PistonHeads' annual beanfeast happened on Saturday on rural Warwickshire, with 185 PHers in attendance. They arrived in exotica as diverse as a Lamborghini Diablo through a Honda NSX and a couple of Astons, a multitude of TVRs, BMWs and Porsches, and one rather special-looking Ford Capri.

But apart from the good (and good-natured) service from the staff at venue Brandon Hall, plus the good meal they served, BTaP is also about thinking of others: over £8,000 was raised for Cancer Research through collections and raffles throughout the evening -- a massive amount that's almost twice that of last year's total.

PistonHeads boss PetrolTed said afterwards that he was feeling "hoarse and a bit tired", but that the event went very smoothly. Everyone obviously had a great time and it once again proved that PH is so much more than just a Web site.

Here's to next year...

Where does one get the PH sticker that is on the TVR? Don't see it in the shop. I bet those would sell.

Lotusm10024,

As UncleDave says - you'll find the smiley sticker in the PH Shop here:
www.pistonheads.com/shop/asp/product.asp?product=158

But please do note that this is just the 'Smiley' only (as per on the Blue Cerbera above). The "Pistonheads - Speed Matters" vinyl lettering is available seperately.

To see all the stickers and clingies available check out www.pistonheads.com/shop/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=33

If you have any questions, please do drop us an email.

Regards,

The PH Shop.
