Seeing as I get quite drunk after two glasses of wine at the moment, I will have to wait till dinner before I start, otherwise I will miss the evening altogether and I could do with NOT getting in the state I was in 2 years ago

Which is nearly as good as Scoobz the year before actually getting his hand and glass through the railings and managing somehow to flick the beer tap on and half fill his glass all one handed whilst leaning half backwards over the bar

I can not drink until at least 6 o'clock as if i drink early in day i get drunk quicker for some reason, can anyone here back me up on that one? I have to leave it at least until dinner as I would like to remember the evening!

Last year, having got to the bar before it even opened, I registerred my displeasure at reception and then got Ted on the case, commonsense prevailed and the hotel got staff from the kitchen to open the bar early for us.

13 hours later I was still in the bar but I can't remember much about the later hours, although my shirt did have pizza remains on it the following morning. With horrible people like Tony996 and his cohorts trying to get me drunk, I doubt I was in the stragglers party who stopped drinking early in the evening, so they could stay up later and claim some sort of false kudos for being last to leave the bar even though they drank like a bunch of shandies.
