Genuine Clubsport or aftermarket job?
Normally hate yellow cars with a passion hard to understand, but I was lucky enough to spend time in a 965 S lwt earlier this yr, the only rhd one in yellow and decided that the bright yellow suits the mental 911

If you decide to sell her in the next cpl of yrs, let me know...genuine request btw.

Think that was MOD500's 993 turbo with factory engine upgrade and factory spoiler option (Yellow exterior and interior).

Edited to say there are a few 911 owners on PH who seem to have good knowledge of the whereabouts of the more rare/desirable lightweight 911s, on who owns what etc..... If you are really serious about getting a RHD yellow 993RS, it may also be worth joining PCGB and contacting the 993 RS secretary to find out how many were imported etc........

A while ago there was an absolutely fabulous yellow 993 RS clubsport at a VMAX event. I believe "derestrictor" was priviledged to have a passenger run of said beasty, driver was a driving god apparently. Good luck with your search, as these cars tend to be owned by people who don't want to sell them!!

Oh I know where to look for rare and lwt 911's, both within the country and lhd import/export market. Hell I let the rarest of the lot slip through my fingers earlier this yr! (965 S lwt, 1 yellow rhd made). I was just interested who was running what was in the pics. Im always interested in special 911's that turn up, but the DJC garage is pretty full for the next 18months or so!

Craig, I know Martin having met him at a number of events. He used to run an X50 like mine, and has recently changed over to a 996 GT3 RS. The car I was referring to above was a yellow 993 at the last but one VMAX, it had an "RSR" numberplate.

It was another guy called Martin IIRC? He came with a mate who brought along a GT3 RS.

Both really nice guys.

Blimey! That's one hell of a slope you're parked on. I had no idea the 911 had off-road capability.

A lovely picture without doubt but Pauls car needs sound, its sounds like a Le Mans car under provocation.

Quite marvellous

Yep, it was me.

As Daz said it has a factory fitted Y75 aerokit (GT2 kit minus riveted arches).

The bright yellow interior doesn't suit all tastes, though I like it.

The spec and a few more pics are here

The biplane rear wing of the RSR and GT2 are not exactly the same, the RSR wing has triangular shaped ducts, whilst the GT2 wing has larger slightly oval ducts

I went in the yellow 993 RS at Brunters, and felt ill after the lap to be honest. I have never seen a man change gear as fast (proper rifle bolt changes), and go round corners so quickly, along with the zingy, raucous blare of the engine out back. Though I should have know it was going to be a fast lap when I saw the driver had little blue suede racing boots on!

The experience seemed so intense and involving even from the passenger seat.....awesome.

I assume the GT3 RS is the next plane of involvement up?

Edited to get hyperlink right

FAAANTASTIC SHOT

1 - Yes, it is a seriously fun car

2 - Yes, he is a seriously good driver

3 - Yes, he should get a seriously large print of that shot in an equally large frame
