Sadly events of the last few days have consumed much of my time and I've left blagging to the last minute.

I desperately need some fun/interesting stuff for the raffle. Last year we raised over £3000 in one night and I feel a kind of obligation to match that again this year.

I've not been round with my begging bowl to friendly companies yet and will have to do that in the next couple of days.

If anyone in PH land can offer some good prizes I'll be extremely grateful.

All monies raised go to Cancer Research UK. PLEASE HELP!

Will 2 cups of tea be a suitable raffle prize though?

Pallet?! After last year I'm not sure if you're joking or not. Proved a bit of a logistical challenge last time!

Ted - I have a limited edition (only four of this photo exist) signed picture of Peter Wheeler if you are interested. It has been professionally framed.

I guess if it is won by a Porsche Driver they can always auction it off.

Hi Ted,

As promised I've had a grovel around,

I have a bag full of promotion goodies from CRH the company that make the seats for Ferrets Porkies BMW and so on and I have been promised a model 350Z from the marketing dept of Nissan germany, The stuff from CRH is really good quality office toys. For BMW fans there is a crystal paper weight of the 3 series cab seat structure and for Porsche fans there will be one of the 997 seat structure. Fasanating little things for Petrolheads, the detail is amazing. There are calculators, mini leatherman/bottle openers, pens, 2 gyrotwisters which are a right giggle, keyring torches and a top quality manicure set.

I hope these will help.

Got a ladies (or possibly blokes as well) prize.

Just had Susannah and Trinny in the building () and got a signed copy of their latest book, dedicated to PHers, plus some other non-automotive stuff, including Robbie Williams' book.

Also, Carl Fogarty has just signed his book for me, to add to the other automotive books that WHS have kindly donated, including Superbikes and World Rally.

Plus a few booby prizes ()
