After all of my excitement & build up over the last 11 months, unfortunately it now looks very unlikely that James and I will be able to make it

If tickets had gone on sale last week, they'd have been bought & this would have to work around it, now I can't commit.

I will know more next week and hope that this will change, but as it stands with prognosis at the moment

Ali, why would last week have made any difference?
I have mentioned several times on a couple of threads that the date was fixed and the tickets were simply delayed. The date had been confirmed for nearly a year!
