Had a quick look around to see if this has been started already but can't find anything. I know there are quite a few people coming from the South coast and was wondering if there is any interest in a convoy to BT&P with the intention of meeting Slim-Shady and the Essex Massiiive.. at the M40 J8 services. They are leaving there at 14:00hrs so my initial thoughts are:-
J9 Winchester Tesco car park leave 11:45
Fleet services next departing at 12:30
onto M25 / M40 should overtake Squadron leader Tree in the DB9 comfortably before J8 services
Dusty, it's time to see where your loyalties are.....

Its a good plan, but why go to the M25? Up the the 322 to bracknell.. then from there to the A404m up to the M40.. far more fun!

No! No! No! Surely the A34 to Oxford, then the A44/A3400 to Stratford? Proper roads and much shorter.

We could even cut accross to the M40 via Banbury to meet the other group. Maybe meet at the Warwick Services.

I really don't want dual carriage way and motorway for the whole route

Paul.

A34 to Oxford.

This was my initial preference and unless there is feedback from anyone who wishes to join at Fleet I don't see why we can't go that way. At the end of the day we just need to get to the M40 services on time.

Have the meeting times and final route been agreed/approved yet? I take it the initial 11-45 at Winchester is confirmed?

Paul.

11.45 in the Tesco car park directly opposite the filling station. If there are no posts about meeting at fleet, then the route will be A34 from there up to M40.
