As a BT&P virgin; no plan/no table/no PHpals in the flesh (as it were):

I assume for the waifs and strays that don't have a plan: just get scattered randomly where spaces are available?

BTW: quite happy with random scattering!

Sorry chaps, I replied to TC via email but worth sharing.

Tables are a very comfortable fit for 8, but we can get 10 to a table if required.

Bollx! Are most of the tables an eight then Paul?

I may move me and Louise out of our Yorkshire pen and keep the other guys together if it's going to be a tight squeeze.

10 is fine, but it's a little closer than we'd set normally.

Most years we have a mix of eight and ten. You won't be on each others lap, it's just a little tighter.

That's ok. For some reason Louise finds you quite entertaining
