So what did you blow and who blew the highest?

I blew 0.0 as did somebody else who did it just before me who had apparently stayed up drinking until 5am. I don't know how she did it, I'd have been a mess!

Odd results this year.

Many hardcore liver abusers were seeing low readings, yet there was rumor of a three-times over reading from an unknown PHer earlier in the morning. Sam was confident his equipment was 100%, but very strange to see most of us able to drive legally......especially LHD

I'm usually a 0.0 but was 0.17 today.

Must have just missed you when I headed out for an early morning walk around 6:30, not surprised to see some hardcore people still up and drinking...

I blew 0.77 at 9.30am which had dropped to 0.57 by 11.30am

Despite the limit being 0.8 I would never have considered driving in the state I was in at 9.30am, so it doesn't surprise me to hear that it may have been under-reading.

0.72 at 9:30, which is the highest I've ever blown. I hung around until it had dropped below 0.40, just because I didn't actually feel right for driving.

I'm broken. Absolutely broken.

Is the drink drive limit not .35? Is 35 micrograms = 0.35 on that machine?

The limit is
35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath; or
80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood; or
107 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of urine.

So perhaps it is measuring the alcohol in the breath and displaying it as an equivalent of in blood?

I think the guy was using the blood level to measure the breath test.

I felt fine and drove home

They can re-test me now if they like

I didn't do the test but had a feeling I may be close.

Sticking to me wasn't difficult was it? I was sober, but a little concerned if I had been tugged. Drove like my Nan to Crazycraig's to drop off his bag.

Hmm. Unknown PHer may have been me at 7:20. I blew 2.24 against a legal limit of 0.8. Fortunately my wife was driving and blew a complete 0.0. Either she didn't drink much, or has a liver that's made of finer stuff than mine, or both. I was a bit surprised to wake up at 2:30 on the room floor though, as I distinctly remembered getting into bed. My wife remembered me rolling over and dissappearing from sight with a thud but went back to sleep as she decided I'd climb back in when I was ready. I suppose she was right
