Brilliant night, with plenty of laughs. Great to see the old guard out in force, but nice to put some faces to some new names too.

Top work to all those who organised it. clap

Just home (Via Fernhurst) and before I take residence on the sofa for an hour or two I just wanted to say a few words.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who came along as without you there is no BTaP, and further thanks for making it a great evening - such a nice atmosphere around the venue throughout the entire event.

Thanks to Corin for providing the music, we might not have always been dancing but we all enjoyed the music in the bar too. Thanks for your efforts mate.

A few apologies too

The raffle was a bit of a farce with two lots of pink tickets in circulation, thanks for your patience with that (and the sound issues too)

There were a few items thrown back for auction, but not enough to get on stage again. Instead, we'll offer the items up through this forum tomorrow, in return for direct donations to Cancer Research. Let me ponder how best to do that.

There were a few issues with table plans and badges, hopefully not too bad but annoying all the same

And finally, it seems the ordered steak and ale pie thought it was a fancy dress event and came as steak and kidney....

Anyway, hands up to that but it was still a great night. I met so many new faces this year and (as usual) all were lovely to spend time with. Thanks again from all of us here at PH for another memorable night

Fantastic biggrin

Another good one, such a great venue! Thanks PH

Nice to meet old, new and young friends wink

Sorry to DJ Corin for not dancing, music was enjoyed via the bar though!

One thing that stood out is how professional the hotel staff are, top marks.

Thanks to the sponsors and advertisers who paid for the drinks too, very appreciated! smile

Yes, absolutely.

From the event manager (who liked Viants car the best) to the two chaps cleaning up the vomit from the carpark this morning. All were excellent.

And the rule wasn't broken:

there was carrot in it.

A grand night. Thanks to all, whether organiser or attendee. We had a great time.

Actually, and myself and RG to those singing the praises of the hotel staff. The only negative aspect I could think of, is that check-in took a fair while.

Hotel staff were great - its always been a good hotel.

Top spinning from Corin and a big thumbup to Paul and the gang for laying on the event in the first place. What always makes the event for me is seeing so many good friends all in one place. Far too many of you to mention, but I am sure you all know who you are biggrin

I understand that there were complaints made about us to the front desk though. I hope we will be allowed to come back next year because it's a really great hotel and venue.

A few were made about general noise late at night, nothing too bad.
