It's closer to the hotel this year by a good fifteen/twenty minutes over last years luncheon place

Can you arrange for the area to be coned/roped off prior to the friday crowd arriving mid afternoon? For a decent car display for saturday evening some people will need to get their cars parked in position prior to the afternoon's Alcolympics.
