Hi
I just finished setting my timing(12 degrees) and now its time to fiddle with the webers on my cross flow. The timing was set too far advanced according to the timing light.
I set the mixtures screws to around 2.5 turns.
On some of the trumpets there is a fair bit of raw fuel spitting out. I've tried to lean them out but then I get misfires and popping.
I also seem to have lost some low to mid range power.
Ideas?
Should I go richer and just live with the fuel spit?

I assume you have a good fuel pressure reg and it is working properly.
DCOE floats can't hold back a silver or redtop type pump pressure for toffee. You can see fuel dripping in at idle if you look down the chokes and have this problem.
Other than that the jetting could need tweaking and also are the carbs properly balanced? Spits aplenty if not.
