Hi All,

Thinking of hiring a Seven for the day in a couple of weekends time and was just wondering if anyone has any idea whether the roads are better around Caterham South or Caterham Midlands. I guess from Leicester you could head up into the Peak District but I'm assuming there are some good windy roads in Surrey too.

Any thoughts appreciated!

If the weather is good I cannot think of any better road trip than a ride through the Peaks in a Caterham. Stop off in Mattlock Bath if you can. There used to be an art deco cafe there well worth a visit.

I live in Surrey and yes there are some great roads but I think for sheer scenic beauty I would get one from CC Midlands and head off into the Peak district and take on the Cat and Fiddle.

Thanks! I'll get on to Caterham Midlands today then and hope for a sunny day! I've done a bit of kayaking at Matlock; the fish and chip shop there is pretty awesome too!

Very much looking forward to going for a play!

Don't be too surprised if you come back after a day's drive with a plan to own one (if you haven't formulated that already!);)

Don't worry - that plan is already well underway! The only thing stopping me is that I'm going abroad for work for eight months! Come December I'll be shopping again ;-).

Absolutely amazing day - Cat and Fiddle was a great recommendation - thank you!

The guys at Caterham Midlands were very helpful too smile

Will definitely be buying one as soon as possible!
