I've had some head work done by Dave Andrews and now need to upgrade the power bottle neck - my exhaust. It's the standard Caterham single external pipe exhaust.
I've found a Caterham 4-2-1 VHPD exhaust for sale, but the packing is starting to go. It's a sealed unit. Can you easily make these repackable, or is it an arse of a job?

I guess it depends if the price is right. With a bit of messing about,they can be cut open & repacked.

You can often pick up the silencers cheap on eBay rather than repack.

Or you can buy a new Powerspeed with silencer & primarys for around £600

Have a look at a Raceco exhaust, it may be you are needing.

I just had the same issue and decided to replace it with a can from powerspeed (about £150 or so plus welding up)--I also had them remove the tabs (and need for) by putting mutliple mounting points on the muffler. Results here:
