Hi guys,

Just some general pointers as to where's the best place to advertise for a well specced R400 with low miles? Pistonheads doesn't seem full of them so would an owners club be the best?

Thanks smile

Pistonheads is normally first port-of-call for buyers so i'd give it a go on here. I'd say other than C.C themselves there is more Caterhams sold on here than anywhere else. Even CC scour the P.H adds!

There's "really" only one owners club for the Lotus/Caterham 7 and that's the Lotus Seven Club - it's worth joining and getting on the forum to ask the same question: http://www.blatchat.com/default.asp

The people who advertise their cars on Blatchat, 90% of the time have a link to their Pistonheads advert.

I am and I'm not.

I've kind of resigned myself to maybe leaving it until next year when I have a few more pounds tucked away and I can get the precise car I want unless I stumble across one with my name on it.

I had a hoot in roadsport hires 125 sigma yesterday.

If it's a standard R400 then Caterham themselves may take it off your hands (if you want a quick sale). Otherwise, here and L7CGB (Blatchat).

Tom, looks like a fabulous car for sensible money smile

At the risk of being pedantic, the ad says 13" wheels but in the pics they're 15" and the mileage says 7000 but 8000 in the header!

I suspect they may be Willans harnesses, not Williams (CC standard is Luke though)

Out of interest, are the pics from CC mids?
Good luck with the sale, smashing car, very reasonable price.

Went down to CC Midlands a couple of weeks ago, and everyone was drooling over your car - management included.

When I was in the market for one, I kept a very close eye on Pistonheads. Blatchat.com was a close second with the CC preowned site third. I also looked through autotrader (but it was pants).

So, my vote goes for keeping the car listed on this site.

Good luck smile
