Blat around Wales
Discussion
di a great blat yesterday, 10 hours on the road, tea kit came out 6 times, 357 miles went under the tyres, 3 tanks of fuel.
started in Usk where I met up with Greg
went via Abergavenny to Blackmountain road to llangynidyr
Fantatastic road
Then over Epynt and the chapels where we stopped for a brew chief ..
Gurkas were training .... no sugar in there ?
Then onto the A4069 for a brew
And a bit of a hoon to warm the diff up
fresh smooth tarmac over parts of the road thats one of the best in Wales
fancy a brew cheif ?
then we went north to do the Staylittle and dylife road , bit of a moment on the way when we caught up with plod doing pursuit training.... they gave a knowing smile
and onto tal y llyn pass where we had the jet fighters make a low pass
then homeward bound all the way south with an absence of traffic allowing good progress
a great day on the road

Must of been a cracking day Dave, wish I could have been there. I was on the new tarmac over the blacks last sunday, but it was not too clever the week before as they had just started the job. Tried to be careful but managed to gain a stone chip. Look forward to meet on Saturday.
