Having been out of the racing scene for a few years could someone please update me on where you chaps generally abuse each other these days?

I have a couple of sets of anthracite 13 inch wheels with tyres which I am prepared to let go for a very reasonable sum and I'd like to give the racers a chance to buy. One good set of near new wheels and CR500s, one set with slightly shagged CR 500s and a couple clean wheels and a couple of slightly scuffed rims.

I'll probably e-bay them so full details and pictures to follow.

Hi March Hare, I run a race R400 and could really do with some spare wheels / tyres very happy to travel to collect, If you wish to do a deal before e-bay etc.

Hiya Paul, good to see that the racing is going well, really miss it myself but get my adrenaline rush from bike track days these days. Generally considerably cheaper although the current broken collar bone attests to the somewhat higher risk profile!

Gerry, thanks for interest, might be interested in a deal if you want all 8. I'd be looking for £1,000 for all eight wheels (6 excellent condition, 2 scuffed) and eight CR500's (4 new, 4 worn).

All are 6 inch rims, 13 inch wheels.

If you want to split them I'll probably put them on e-bay as a good set and an, erm, not so good set.

Sorry i should have asked width 1st, as all 6" i run 8" rears, so rather than split may be best for you to advertise rather than split sets up. But saying that i could still do with two 6" and a pair off best CR500s

I came from offroad 2 wheels.....wanting something a little safer having known a few people damage themselves far too much. Keep it upright

OK listings up now. Had a closer look at them, one good set of wheels with "fair" CR500 tyres (£500). Plenty of tread but not perfect. One set with two good and two scuffed wheels and a set of fairly shagged tyres (£250).
