OK, officially excited now!
Discussion
Apologies to Redmax for re-use of excited, but despite some concerns about delay due to issues with the diff, my R500 SV is now completed and due for IVA today, which means (fingers crossed) that I should be picking it up a week Saturday.
Given I ordered it last August, it has been a long time coming (admittedly I chose a delivery date in March, so it hasn't really taken Caterham 8 months to build it!).
Keeping fingers crossed on the IVA, but as I didn't build the car myself I am hoping there will be nothing to worry about

Matt, any details on what diff issues they had?
Apparently there was some issue with the connections for the prop and driveshafts to the new BMW diff, particular for SVs - I didn't get a huge amount of information, just that there had been some sort of supply/engineering fubar and this was causing delay at the factory for the majority of cars. Turns out it got resolved much quicker than I expected, so can't have been a major problem. Very pleased with the Caterham response in the end.Redmax said:
hopefully I can solve that problem with the helpful suggestions on that thread.I did post a couple of pictures to the 'not enough pictures' thread, but here are a few more, all taken with my smartphone camera:

Hopefully I will be digging out the Powershot within a few days and taking some better pictures!
