Picking up my R300 race car kit tomorrow, can't wait! It's on my birthday too by a large coincidence. I finished decorating the living room last weekend so nothing to distract me from the Caterham (including any sold work unfortunately). Even Mrs Redmax has been shipped off on holiday for 10 days!

Your either very early for for 2012....or late for 2011...which is it! Good luck if your out for Oulton in three and bit weeks! See you out there. First trip out for most people was yesterday.
Something to wet your appetite if your not already excited enough.

Thanks for the links Paul. I'm early for 2012 really - Nick P sold me the car on the basis that the 2011 grid was full, so the plan for this year is to do lots of tracks days to fix all the faults I build into it(!) and try to get up to speed-ish, then do a few R300 and Mag 7 races towards the end of the season, then really focus on 2012. I suspect the grid isn't actually full for the majority of circuits but it suits me fine to have a quieter racing season this year.Something to wet your appetite if your not already excited enough.

Yes, Brands is probably a bit of a stretch but Donington in August would be an excellent target - one for the diary I think.

superleague event. nothing like single seater v12's pounding round with some talented drivers behind the wheel. Will be a good meeting for sure.Cheers

haha, you'll be fine. Just hang on to it. I should add that I did manage to crash it whilst driving down hanger straight in the wet when I aqua planned..... so maybe I should recommend caution........ (http://paul-wilson.net/2010/11/22/season-in-review-rd1-2-silverstone/)
and the last one from me.... more of a generic round up with motors tv footage. If you ever want to see an R300 race car fly watch the grass section at 6.03. Peter Young (SPY team boss) gets a good meter of air. All it did was not a sensor off. He was back out race 2.
