Am I correct in thinking these are Triumph Spitfire items?
If so, can anyone confirm I have the correct part numbers 211048R and 211049R
as in this diagram here?
http://www.canleyclassics.com/?xhtml=xhtml/diagram...

TIA,
Mick.smile

As far as I know they are, and I need one for mine as well so I'd be interested to find out. Having said this though rimmer brothers et al all seem to be around the same price as caterham - £40 quid give or take.

But these are only 12.75 each! From Caterham 35 + VAT
The uprights are 71.98. (They have suffix C for Caterham) Caterham price 105 + VAT. wink

Mick, agreed Canley is cheaper than CC for these parts which is nice, but why do you quote "+VAT" for CC but not for Canley? They're both exclusive of VAT.

Becuase I don't know. I couldn't see anywhere on the site that says whether their prices are exclusive or not. Can you?
That's why I put the Caterham price + VAT.
I don't really see what your getting at. Whichever way you look at it, it's a lot cheaper from Canley than Caterham.
I just though it would be a good heads up.
I've supported Caterham enough!

True enough. I just popped a couple in the basket to find out. Yeah I agree there's no excuse for such a big markup on stuff like that, apart from CC not particularly wanting the hassle of selling large volumes of them and hence wanting to get a healthy return on ones they do stock and sell.

I definitely appreciate your experiences with Dartford's less than compatible views on stock for your project biggrin

Have a great weekend Mick

I received confirmation from Canley Classics. They'll fit all cars from 1987 onwards.
I'll order a set now, so I can drill them out when Arnies sexy rod ends arrive! wink

Drill 13.0mm Mick. Then you can fit them too!

Parts are just being plated, and will be with me Weds.

So I'll be immersing myself in a room full of labels, small boxes and DHL online next weekend!

Incidently, I belive Redline may eb able to supply for less than Canley! Call them on 01883 346515.

I finaly got around to ordering some last week, and they where waiting for me at work this morning.
They're not nicely zinc plated like the Caterham ones.
I get the impression they're reconditioned. I may be wrong about that though. It's just what passed through my mind when I had them in my hands examining the red primer they come in.
I was thinking of getting one of those plating kits that Purespeed has. Now I have an excuse. smile
All in all, pretty good service from Canley. But a bit disapointed with the finish.

Arnie's rod end, and ball joint replacements also turned up on Friday.
Now they are nice! cool
The bump steer adjustment is a very clever solution. The finish is nice, and there's even instructions!
Well done Mate! Excellent job. thumbup

I'll put some pics up on my Nuvite II thread when I've got my calipers and discs buttoned up.
Pad profiles are done, and they went off for waterjet cutting cutting last week, so I'm hoping all should be done this week.
