Hi, what is the wisdom on current SLR values. They seem to be relatively thin on the ground these days. Am thinking circa 15-16k depending on mods?

Seriously, I reckon you're close, perhaps another grand or so. Lots are modified now, at least with Emerald (which is a good thing). If they have been specced-up then they have a lot of performance for the money and I think many owners are hanging on to them as to trade them in would be a lot of cash to get near the performance. Mine, and I'm not alone is nearer 250bhp with whizzy suspensio etc and so is pretty quick...

Private sales of around £17K seems to be the going rate - Caterham are usually selling at around £19K. IMHO values seem to have bottomed and are holding steady - if it's seriously tatty it'll likely go for less. Upgrades appear to neither reduce or enhance value just make them more desireable to some buyers.
