Wet sumped K series

I have a VHPD K Series running in a Rochdale Olympic. The engine is mounted longitudinally, a la Caterham.
The engine has seized, because the bearings have gone. I have been told that this is likely to be related to oil starvation, and have been recommended to go down the dry sump route.
This leads to all sorts of issues, as there ain't a lot of room to play with to fit one.
I was just wondering, are there any other options taken in the Caterham world? I now most K's are dry sumped in a Caterham, but is anyone running an Apollo tank with no issues, or any other solution?

The Caterham Dry sump system is mainy housed in the bellhousing so doesn't take up much room at all
What gearbox are you running ?
We can suffer oil issues with Apollo cars only at 7,500 revs over very sustained right hand corners (It's happened at Gerrards a few times) Other than that the Apollo does sit' job pretty well

The car is a road car so running road rubber. from what I understand, the bearing failure was caused by oil starvation, but this happened on the rollers, so not surge from hard cornering. Still trying to get my head around it....
That would depend on the engine's provenance, if previous usage has damaged the bearings then it could quite easily fail regardless of oil delivery/aeration issues.
One thing is pretty much certain, if yoiu run the car withoiut Apollo or dry sump then any high 'G' cornering will cause oil starvation issues.
