Quick Question about noise from a Duratec Caterham ~200bhp

I'm going to Bedford at the weekend with a 101 db noise limit (static)

I currently have a standard Caterham R400 exhaust with a cat bypass fitted, should I be worried about the noise limit? and would fitting the cat help?

Thanks in advance.

The cat will certainly reduce the noise. Only one way to find out.

Two tips. Make sure the engine is PROPERLY warm before you test, and try and get the test done by the side of the track, over grass not tarmac (though from memory one can't do that at Bedford). Both significantly reduce noise levels.

Thanks for the reply's.

Looks like I'm dealing with those bloody spring clips later tonight in the cold garage! re fitting the cat.
