thanx for the info...i will give them a call....but i thought that i could buy one 2nd hand...nobody converted his caterham from x-flow to a modern engine, so the x-flow is sitting on his shortened sump in the garage now?

thanx for this info about redline!!!

comparing to what i got offered via this forum (a rusty, dented, unprofesional welded piece of crap, ex pipe), that´s a bargain.

but we can close this thread now...i found one locally...in as new condition, professional welded and enlarged, incl. pipe for 58,-€ incl. postage.

I'm also looking for a shortened sump and pick up pipe. Kent Crossflow aswel. I emailed redline components but looking for a secound hand or private sale really. Or in fact any sellers, hints etc. I could probably get the mod done myself but that would mean leaving my engine with itsguts hanging out for a few days. Which isn't preferable

Buy a second hand standard sump and have it modded [don't forget the pick up pipe!] then it's an easy swap HTH
