Please can someone post a few pics of one fitted?
Can you still carry a pasenger with one fitted? Comfortably and safely?
How long does it take to fit/remove?
Thanks.

No pic, but I think it is impossible or very difficult to carry a passenger with it fitted.
Should be quick to fit and remove though - just bolts at either end.

Petty Strut fixes, as stated above, by 2 bolts. One the FIA bar and one into a threaded boss in the chassis near where the dashboard meets the interior side panel.

It will not be possible to carry a passenger.

If its for a new car, then the Petty strut bolts through a pair of boss's through the top of the main loop of the "trackday" rollover bar (unlike the photo of Aeroscreens' car which has the older style of FIA bar).
It only takes a couple of minutes to fit or remove.
If you plan to use a tonneau, then there is a tonneau available that has a hole (and a flap) in it to allow the strut to pass through.

Never say never.
I have seen a passenger carried at Dunsfold. It wasn't easy for him to get in (understatement of the year!!) and the bar was VERY close to his face. But you wouldn't catch me trying it.

When I was a lot younger I went in the 7 as a passenger with the strut in place. There was no change of hitting my head with the harnesses and being small back then!

Does it sharpen up the car at all? I've been thinking about trying it out on trackdays, but always end up with people wanting to hop in for a passenger ride and I quite enjoy scaring them biggrin

There speaks a man who's never had a decent shunt! I think you'd be horrified at how far a head moves in an accident.

Actually, I was in the Caterham in a 80mph impact into a tyre barrier last year.
Harnesses are very good.

I mean a LOT younger.

Not noticeably.
